Pretty Purses...

I recently signed up for a swap on Flickr called the Pretty {little} Pouch Swap.  Its my first international swap and since receiving my partner last week ( its a blind swap ) ive been busy stalking and sewing.  Im quite pleased with the end result...

A little bit of linen, a little bit of embroidery, bright happy fabrics, cute fussy cut fabrics...I love it and I hope my partner does too...

Ive also managed  a little bit of sewing for moi.  Ive been needing a new bag for some time and loved the look of a bag my sister had recently bought so i robbed it for a few days and cut a pattern from it.

I love the end result featuring (of course) some pretty patchwork!

Hope you are enjoying some crafty time...

You make the best things!!! Both of those are so quirky, fun and so well made!! Your partner will love that purse and I bet you get heaps of compliments on your bag when you're out and about.

I do love what you make Melissa. The purse looks fantastic and I love the pin cushion with the cute little mushroom pin:) And your bag is lovely. I really love the look of linen with the flower fabric applique. Lovely to see what you've been creating lately. xo

I think if I saw something of yours without knowing it was yours I'd still know it was yours. Your style is so unique and really appeals to me.

Loving that bag and I have a gorgeous purse very similar to that one (courtesy of you) that I use ALL the time!

I love the picture of the little lady in the middle. I also like the picture of the red horse on the left side. The inside is a beautiful shade of red. I love all the little details you do with the purse. You are amazing at crafts.
