To be or not to be?

When I look at this photo it looks quite speccy but lay it on the bed and it doesnt really do it for me.....why is that? Im unsure where to go from here , its not quite big enough for a single bed , do I make more? or put a border around it ( im not really into borders either ) or should i just fold it up and put it into hibernation?.....Hmmm......Ive started on other things anyway!

Have a great weekend! x

If it was me id have to go the distance and make more to do your work justice. Im no expert but could you do darker circles with more green and reds in for the extra to 'darken' it up. But then now im thinking blues would be nice. Its wonderful how it is. What is this pattern called?

Hi Melissa...we're our own worst critics! Your quilt is spectacular! I love it! I quite like that middling size as a cozy cover for when I'm on the sofa at night in the winter. Perhaps if you put it to one side for a while and come back to it later you'll se what I see...a lovely thing! Lots of love, Amanda xxx

Oh Melissa, It's glorious! Please don't give up on it. Like Amanda said maybe if you leave it for a while and come to it?
Hope you have a good weekend.

Wallhanging! I love the way it kaleidoscopes at you as you look at it and the way the light circles jump out - it would be an absolute travesty to confine it to the bottom of your work basket - it`s very beautiful. Good Work Melissa.

I agree with Amanda - perhaps put it to one side and come back to it at a later date. You'll be more refreshed then - it'll be a shame to abandon it completely!

I think so too- it looks lovely to me, but if you're not head over heels for it right now, put it away for a while. The you can bring it out and look at it with fresh eyes!
