Finished one cushion and started another. I love making these granny squares, they are so quick and easy and Ive discovered how to join them as you go. This cushion was made from a bag of tapestry wools I bought from spotlight for five bucks. I dont do tapestry but I thought they might be good for granny squares and I really loved the colors.
This is another one waiting for a backing.
I bought a bundle of vintage sheet fat quarters, (I just couldnt help myself !) The colors are so gorgeous and Ive got plans for these
And my latest addition , I cant help myself with these either! Twenty bucks from the tip shop and it sews beautifully. I cant believe how many machines end up at the tip and all that is wrong with them is that they need the fluff cleaned out or a new needle or they have the wrong bobbin. Crazy Huh!!

Wow, where do you buy vintage sheet fat quarters from??? I love the cushion, especially the back!
i also love those colours you've used, and how do you join them together as you go??
Your cushion is stunning! The colours are so lovely...and even better since they were a bargain. Can't wait to see what you make with those yummy vintage fatties :)
What beautiful cushions! I love the blanket back too.
OOh I started turning my vintage sheets into FQs today, getting ready for the swap!! My Bug heard the ripppppp! and got very interested and asked if he could have some fabric to tear too ;)
Those colours are perfect! They are both understated but pretty at the same time.
I hate our throw away nature and applaud you for saving a little beauty. The cushion looks great and I admire your crochet skills - still haven't mastered it!
I really like the yarn colours:) very cute cushion!
i am so excited to see everybody's sheets for the sheet swap. i haven't started tearing and cutting yet ... i'm still too scared to start.

Oh I am so in love with your cushion - making one of these has been on my must do for a while. What a fabulous use of tapestry threads - I come across them all the time in the op shop!
Your crocheting looks wonderful plus I adore your vintage fabric finds! And that sewing machine is a real gem too, lucky gal you are!
