Made with Love

This is a quilt I made for my bed with Amy Butler Love collection and mixed it in with different vintage fabrics mainly sheet fabrics. I was so wrapped with how it turned out and I quilted it on my domestic sewing machine ( one I picked up from the rubbish tip for twenty bucks - but thats another story ). I was tempted to have it quilted professionally but I'm glad I didn't, I love all the wonky and irregular stiches , it gives it character, I reckon anyway. Theres a vintage sheet swap over here so I might pop over and join in!

Hi, thanks for your comments on our blog - and lovely to see our Madonna cushion on your beautiful bed!!
For someone whos just starting out in blogland, you sure know how to post!

Those quilts are both divine. Shame I have too many on the go or id be so inspired to start a new one immediately. But 'no, no, no. I must not sew'. I must clean!
